My journey into wine began far from the rolling hills of Sonoma—on the snowy streets of Buffalo, New York. Growing up in a place known more for wings than wine, I discovered early on a love for food, flavor, and the way a good meal could bring people together. That passion led me to the restaurant world, where I was first introduced to the magic of food and wine pairings. It wasn’t long before I was hooked—not just on the flavors, but on the stories, the people, and the craftsmanship behind every bottle.
That curiosity carried me to culinary school, and from there, into a rewarding career as a private chef and caterer. Along the way, I learned the power of sourcing the right ingredients and letting quality speak for itself. That same philosophy now guides me in winemaking.
In 2018, I made the leap to California with a harvest internship, eager to get my hands dirty and learn the winemaking process from the ground up. I spent the next few years working in some of Napa and Sonoma’s most respected wineries, learning from masterful winemakers and refining my palate. I also took on a role in Portuguese wine imports, which deepened my understanding of old-world winemaking and global wine culture. Then, in 2020—just as the world shut down—I met Sarah. A physician assistant with a heart of gold and steady nerves, she became my partner in life and, eventually, in building our dream.
Today, our winery is rooted in the belief that great wine starts with great fruit. We source exceptional grapes from vineyards across Napa and Sonoma, working closely with growers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability. Every bottle we make is a reflection of that care—from the vineyard to the glass.
We now call Sonoma home, where our lives are filled with community, creativity, and a lot of dog hair—thanks to our two loyal companions, Moose (our black lab) and Buddy (our golden retriever). Whether we’re out walking the vines, grilling in the backyard, or pouring for friends, everything we do is about connection: to the land, to each other, and to the people who drink our wines.
